Repeater Use

A member association with a common interest in public service to the community through Amateur Radio.

After an evaluation of the old 146.610 MHz repeater by

Chuck Ingle, AB9KA, and Don Russell, W9DRR, it was determined that a new repeater was the best solution to the problems with the old repeater, which had been in service for over 20 years.

A new Vertex Standard VXR-9000 Repeater was installed by

Don Russell, W9DRR, and Gordon Seaman, KC9NEX on November 23rd, 2009.

The new repeater is providing

increased range and sensitivity.

Many thanks to the RARA

members who have supported

this upgrade.
