Duane is a retired Professor and has been affiliated with the University of Iowa as a scientist with the Heavy Ion High Energy Physics Group. He has worked on projects at Fermi National Accelerator and Argonne National Laboratory. He has also been to the new Large Hadron Accelerator (CERN) on the French/Swiss border many times.
